Aruzhan Kessikbayeva

Aruzhan Kessikbayeva is a creative entrepreneur passionate about aesthetics, fashion, designs, and marketing. Aruzhan believes that solving the issue of inequalities and creating mutual respect is critical to making the world a better place. She is founder of RAD Resorts, a youth-led organization focused on supporting newcomers in the hospitality industry to truly differentiate their products or services from the incumbents in order to succeed.

My Story

Growing up, what inspires Aruzhan the most, and what made her who she is, is the history of the women in her family, and the opportunity to experience both worlds. Her mother and grandmother achieved everything on their own, without education, through hard work and at the cost of their health. Since childhood, she has been allowed to see a world in which she does not want to live, and a world in which she can get into without the difficulties that they went through. During her childhood, she realized that the only way to achieve what she wants is self-development and discovering new opportunities for herself from an early age.

Aruzhan's academic abilities are at a satisfactory level. She currently studies in the IB program and is undertaking an interdisciplinary approach to her education. She was awarded 3rd place in the Republican Olympia, and at the same time, she is actively involved in sports such as boxing and dancing, and has tried herself in modeling and volunteering. Furthermore, she takes part in city-level debates and works from time to time, trying her hand at initiating and developing small businesses.

In the long term, Aruzhan hopes to make improvements to her society in order for them to help the youth understand their unique talents and abilities instead of pushing the same agenda as they have over the years. No matter which career path she chooses, she remains committed to realizing a positive impact to her family and community. In terms of her interests in business, she is keen to explore the future of travel and leisure, and one day start a business in the hospitality industry. Aruzhan hopes to become a successful businesswoman and entrepreneur by demonstrating that your age, race, or gender should not be a factor in becoming successful or earning respect from society despite the fear of the future.
