Born in France, of Algerian descent, and recently moved to the UAE, Chakib’s diverse cultural heritage has shaped his perspective. Growing up between different cultures has helped him stay open-minded and curious, inspiring his passions for technology, finance, and sports—fields where creativity and diversity come together.
My Story
Chakib’s passion for technology began at a young age. At just 10 years old, he coded his first game, and by 12, he had built his own computer. This brought a few challenges, as he initially struggled with the complexity of the task. However, with determination and help Chakib managed to push through and complete the task of making a functional desktop. These early milestones fueled his curiosity and commitment to problem-solving. Over time, his interest expanded to finance, where he actively explores trading through virtual accounts. To deepen his expertise, Chakib is currently taking an online Yale course in finance, preparing him to connect technology and business in meaningful ways.
Chakib’s academic journey is complemented by his extracurricular achievements. He has completed the Duke of Edinburgh's Bronze Award, an experience that reinforced his discipline, determination, and resilience—qualities he also cultivates through Mixed Martial Arts. Chakib was selected to represent his school in a regional speech competition in the PACA region of France, competing against students from several international schools and securing 5th place. His selection was based on delivering the best speech in his school, highlighting his communication skills and ability to stand out. He is also pursuing IGCSE qualifications in Double Award Science, Economics, Business, Computing, and more, balancing rigorous academics with personal growth.
Looking ahead, Chakib aims to attend a top university where he can refine his skills and knowledge, combining his passions for technology and finance to create impactful solutions. With a strong foundation of discipline and creativity, he is determined to turn his ambitions into achievements that make a meaningful difference.
